Sterkonline, once small and unassuming, but a household name to an increasingly number of people these days. Sterkonline is a true special in regards to Scandinavian design. People with a passion for interior have already stored the web shop in their favourites list. And it shows, Cornelis Tinga, proud owner of the flourishing company, states.

An eye for detail and a nose for growing brands on Scandinavian soil. Taking that direction, brought Cornelis and his company to the place they are now five years ago. A growing host of true fans increasingly embrace the beautiful lamps, original furniture and cool home accessories with typical Scandinavian traits.

The web shop forms the absolute base of their success. The shop has a recognisable authentic style which highlights original products to its visitors. The visitors therefore attach great value to an incredibly fast shop.

Visitors view many products and are active in our shop for up to an hour.

Sterkonline was forced to leave Hipex in October 2016 due to a strong need for technical support and an all in one solution was considered desirable. This forced Sterkonline to also move hosting. And it didn’t go well for the shop afterwards. The performance proved to be of a much lower level and it instantly showed.

Despite frantic attempts and free optimisations, the results were lacking. The return to Hipex turned out to be a great success. .Sterkonline has proven that a faster web shop leads to higher conversions. By now, the conversion has increased from 2.3% to 3.6% within six months. Organically, Sterkonline has also clearly started to achieve better.

This immediately shows the importance of optimal performance. The faster the web shop, the higher the conversion. By now, the number of visitors has grown explosively (from an average of 55,000 per month to around 100,000 in only two months), the number of orders is increasing too because of this and the average value of the order is increasing significantly. Cornelis is happy to have chosen Hipex again. A company that primarily focuses on Magento and knows what they’re talking about. Cool techniques, unique tools and especially unknown performances. But also short lines and professional people that quickly pick up on support requests. Additionally, I also feel like a client thanks to the personal contact. Hipex really puts in effort to make you feel like an esteemed client.

Additionally, they have a hosting panel that allows me to manage a lot of things myself. The expansive possibilities in regards to monitoring are something that is useful to use every week. I’m automatically informed of potential problems and it allows me to quickly change gears. Hipex is an innovative party and brings about new possibilities.
